CRS - Real Estate Issues, Tax Write-offs and Tax Planning In Light of Recent Tax Legislation

About this Event

Familiarize yourself with the real estate legal issues that legislation creates and its impact on the real estate industry. You'll learn how to identify and describe key provisions of the legislative changes and the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act that impact residential and commercial properties, property owners, and prospective homeowners.

• Capital Gains and Depreciation Recapture
• Sale of Principle residence
• Deductible Mortgage Debt
• Property Taxes
• Impact of real estate
• Moving expenses
• Provisions affecting commercial and residential real estate
• Qualified business deductions
• Section 179
• Real estate deductions

Individuals who take this course will earn three (3) credit hours toward the CRS Designation, and two (2) credits towards CRS maintenance.
