“Doreen discussed her view that city leaders should work to provide the city with a well crafted budget so funds are not wasted, and necessary infrastructure is updated and maintained. She shared some of her ideas for increasing Tempe tax revenue by bringing new businesses to Tempe, changing some zoning codes and adaptive reuse. Doreen’s extensive community volunteer work lets her meet a variety of Tempe’s residents so her vision for Tempe is very broad and forward looking,” stated Kelly Soriano, 2024 WeSERV President.
