community food fundraiser
Together, we can create a hunger-free Arizona.

According to Feeding America, over 937,300 people in Arizona are struggling with hunger - and of them, 311,390 are children. Mandates of COVID-19 created economic challenges for our neighbors. More people in our communities are looking for food assistance to feed their families. As an association, we can come together to help.

AzFBN Food Bank Fundraiser Thermometer Goal TrackerFor every one dollar ($1) donated, AzFBN can purchase nine (9) pounds of food, which provides seven (7) meals. Are you able to help create food security in our communities across Arizona?

Your WeSERV Chapter Member Engagement Committees are hosting a fundraiser with the Arizona Food Bank Network (AzFBN). They’re asking you to donate what you can to help the committees to raise at least $5,000 during June. If we reach our goal, both your 2020 President Dena Greenawalt and the Association will each contribute $2,500. That means if we meet our goal of $5,000, we will donate $10,000!

As of Friday, June 19, 27 members donated $4,125.
We're getting close, but we're not there yet. Every dollar counts and creates seven (7) meals. We need $875 to donate $10,000 which will make 70,000 meals. Please help feed our hungry neighbors.

As a bonus, when you donate in June, we’ll enter you into a drawing to have lunch with WeSERV leaders CEO Roger Nelson, COO Pamela Frestedt, and President Dena Greenawalt.

Thank you for making a difference! Please donate today!

Arizona Food Bank Network
In 1983, AzFBN was created from the initial Maricopa County Emergency Food Coordination Project, and since then, we have maintained the goal of ending hunger in Arizona. Throughout our history, we have developed and grown several programs that assist in supporting our member food banks as well as all Arizona hunger relief efforts. Through these programs, we collaborate with food banks, government agencies, community organizations, schools, and various other partners to establish a unified focus on creating a hunger-free Arizona.
